Please help me I said quietly through the sobriety Depression is becoming more and more common more people are being diagnosed with depression than ever and many more people are depressed, but they never seek help or Treatment there could be many many reasons why depression is on the rise such as social media world events financial problems family problems But we are not here to discuss why depression is on the rise in this video We are here so you can learn about five ways You can cope and deal with your depression Better before we get into this video if you are depressed or you have ever been diagnosed with depression Please give this video a like now So others can see and know they are not alone and they are not going through this by themselves Here are five ways. You can cope and deal with your depression better. Number one Connecting with others many people who are depressed cut themselves out from the outside world. However, Withdrawing yourself from society and becoming less interactive with others can actually make you feel even more Depressed mental health professionals say connection is one of the six Basic emotional needs and it should not be neglected When you’re depressed or suffering from depression It is very important to have a support group around you people who can listen to you people who can support you People who can love you and people who can be there for you do not cut your family Friends or loved ones out of your life During this difficult period of time talking about your problems Especially to your support network can make dealing with them a whole lot easier number two Challenging your negative thoughts negative thoughts and depression go hand in hand when you’re depressed You’re negative and you think negatively too when you’re depressed shift your mind from negative to positive By looking for positive things in your life. This will help you take control over your thoughts Rather than letting your negative thoughts take control over you and your mind when you start to notice Negative thoughts again start to remember all the positive things that you have in your life things that make you happy Things that you love and you will start to feel better about yourself if you have trouble doing this CBT cognitive Behavioral therapy is a very helpful treatment for people who are depressed or suffering from depression CBT helps you change your thought process and helps you challenge your negative thoughts and remove them if you have trouble with your negative thoughts and you can’t remove them or control them and you want to give CBT a try there is a link in the description box down below where you can give CBT a try and you can begin to learn how to control your negative thoughts The link is in the description box down below number three regular exercise I don’t need to tell you or remind you that the connection between Exercising and feeling good has been long established when you’re depressed It’s hard to find motivation to do anything let alone Exercise, but whatever it takes Please find that motivation and just do it. You’ll find after just one Exercise session you will feel a lot better and your spirits will be lifted You don’t need to go to the gym If you don’t want to you could go for a nice walk or a run around your neighborhood number four Improve your diet eating too much processed carbohydrate-rich foods can add to the feelings of sluggishness and heaviness which may make you feel even more depressed So if you’re depressed you want to avoid these types of foods because eating them is only going to make you feel worse Eating four to six small meals throughout the day Compared to two or three large meals can help stabilize blood sugar And give you a lot more energy to deal with your debt. Plus you’ll be more likely to avoid Sugar crashes and the mental sluggishness that comes with eating large portions of food number five improve your sleeping patterns Difficulty sleeping is common when you’re depressed people with depression usually have either insomnia Which is unable to sleep or hypersomnia? Which is finding it difficult to stop sleeping.   2. I don't know if I am deppressed have the symptoms for sure but I think it's just my anxiety because I'm pritty happy some of the time..and yes I am a very negitive person.. I have nightmares very often…

    – This is kinda long but it’s just responses to all of these. Sorry for the long comments lately

    1. Other people tend to drain my energy and make me feel worse, but also I’m normally quiet or awkward in social situations, so should I just work on socializing?
    2. That’s hard for me to be positive, but I will try to change my mindset and to get help!
    3. Exercise helps for a bit.. but then I just fall back into that depressive state a few hours later. Would more exercise help? Or is that gonna be too much?
    4. I did, but I eat like a bird and I’m normally not hungry, so i don’t eat a lot, but I’ll try to fix that!
    5. Now that school has started I have fixed my sleep schedule, and actually I had no idea that too much sleep makes you feel more depressed! I get about 7 hours of sleep, so that’s done!

  4. I take St.John Wort for depression, it has helped alot. There are certain meds that don't mix with it. And getting rid of negative thought s and replace them with positive ones is very important. Blessings to all 🤗❤️


  6. I don't sleep so well.but l don't have depression.l just worry so much so l take passion flower from Holland and Barrett and it helps me.l walk everywhere,but I will try excise too. Thank you Charlie 🙂👍

  8. Thanks for the help dude. I often have problems falling asleep but once I do I tend to sleep like 10 hours a day and still feel like shit. I take meds for depression and anxiety currently and I believe this is a side effect of the medication
