Healing illness with the subconscious mind | Danna Pycher | TEDxPineCrestSchool

Reviewer: Peter van de Ven What if I told you, you might not be
who you think you are? What if I told you that your
very perception or idea of who you are has been weaved into your mind over time? What if you don’t agree
with what your mind has to tell you? I’ve always had an inquiring mind.
I’ve always questioned everything. I felt the need to get
to the bottom of everything and never took anything at face value. This ever curious personality
would one day save my life. Let me tell you who I am.
Hi, I’m Danna. I’m a hypnotherapist, specializing
in trauma and chronic illness. I also do a lot of public speaking
about the Holocaust because I’m a third generation descendant, about trauma, and my favorite topic to speak about,
the subconscious mind and how it works, because, holy moly, it’s fascinating. I want to take you
on a little journey, today, that will expose the connection
between your mind, who you think you are,
and the potential onset of disease. So if you may, please follow along
as we go through the human experience. From conception until death. OK, so it won’t be that morbid. We, all of us, are born as blank slates. We, all of us,
then, through our experiences, are programmed to have certain beliefs about who we are, what we can achieve in life,
and what type of person we should be. From birth until six, we are essentially living life
in a hypnotic trance. It’s why we learn languages
so quickly at this young age. We are sponges just joyously absorbing
everything around us. At this precious age,
we’ve set up the rest of our lives, that’s right. What we learned from
about the age of zero until six is essentially the patterns or programming
we begin to develop from then and repeat again and again
from adolescence into adulthood. I want to tell you something
that might offend you: people, we are patterns. I also want to relate
something else to you: sometimes our patterns do not serve us. Those patterns are called disease,
depression, obesity, and the list, unfortunately,
goes on and on. OK, let’s rewind for a minute. I want to rewind to a really
serious pattern that I had in the past. I had what’s called
chronic fatigue syndrome, which later turned into fibromyalgia. Both are chronic illnesses
that, to put them lightly, are no fun, and to put them into context
can be seriously debilitating. I was 18 years old, and I would suddenly go
in and out of these intense spurts of not being able to function. I was dead tired to a point where if I couldn’t take a nap
in the moment I needed to, I felt as if my heart would give out. The fact that I was so young,
I knew something was wrong. I went to many doctors, many doctors, who all told me
I was either stressed or depressed. And I looked at them, and I said,
“I’m a freshman in college. Really, what do I have
to be depressed about?” So for years, I did research
into why I felt the way I felt, and I became my own advocate. I began experimenting with diet,
with lifestyle, many different things, just to try to get a handle
on my symptoms. And I started to feel better, and I was able to really
get a handle on my life and to manage life really well. And when I finally
had a big handle on my health, I got severely knocked down again. And when I say knocked down, I mean almost killed
in a near-fatal car accident. T-boned, smashed, left hanging upside down in my car
until the firefighters came to cut me out, not sure if I was paralyzed or dead. Without going into the gory details, I knew that I was in
for a long ride ahead of me. I was handicapped for six months, and I developed what’s called PTSD,
or post-traumatic stress disorder. And on top of that,
I began to feel sick again. In 30 seconds, I wasn’t the same Danna anymore. I developed PTSD, and because I knew that I was one person
and I wasn’t that person anymore, I knew I had to see someone
or do something about it. So I began to see this therapist,
and she was a very nice woman. She would tell me things when you
get to a stop sign, you need to breathe. So I thought to myself, am I really paying you
this much money for that? That I got. So eventually after six months
of minimal improvement, I met a woman who survived cancer, and she said she would not
have survived cancer were it not for this
trauma therapist she went to. So I said, “That’s my woman.” So I went, and the first appointment
with her, this trauma therapist, she looked at me, and she said, “I’m a bit alternative.
I hope that’s okay with you.” And I said, “I’m desperate,
whatever you got.” She said, “I do this thing
called hypnosis.” I said, “There is no way
you’re touching my brain with that stuff.” I was super skeptical, I had no idea what it was, and my only reference was show hypnosis, and hypnotherapy is not show hypnosis. So basically, after about six
or seven sessions of meeting with her, I decided that I liked her. She was smart, forward-thinking,
compassionate, so I thought to myself, “What the heck! What can it hurt?” So I walked into that session, I walked in feeling one way,
I walked out feeling another. I wasn’t exactly sure what she did. I just felt better. Within six weeks, my PTSD was gone. The next month my depression,
the next month my anxiety. This woman saved my life. OK, so that’s all interesting, and I want to tell you something
even more interesting. So I mentioned to you earlier
that I started with chronic fatigue and later developed
what’s called fibromyalgia. I view these two ailments
as sisters, very similar. Yet fibromyalgia
on top of the intense fatigue is a serious muscular pain. Yet what’s the interesting part is, I didn’t develop this pain
until after my accident. So here’s the interesting part. When I was healing my trauma
through hypnosis, the pain in my legs began to dissipate. Bit by bit, little by little, the pain in my body was leaving. I thought to myself,
“Wow, what’s happening here?” So that brings us
to where we’re going today. I want to walk you through the mechanics
of the hypnotic process and how it works, and how the mind and body
and disease and thought are all interconnected. But first, let’s jump into the science
of how minds and bodies interact. So, how exactly are trauma
and disease correlated? I want to mention to you that trauma doesn’t have to be
a near-fatal car accident; it doesn’t have to be
coming back from war. In my mind, the way I view trauma is if you viewed the world one way
and then some situation happened to you and now you view the world
in a different way, that can be a traumatic circumstance. So it doesn’t have to be
this overwhelming experience. Have you ever heard
the phrase “stress kills”? OK. So, I used to hear that phrase
and I used to scoff. Yet now, I see just how valid
that statement is. Physical and psychological stressors
cause inflammation to occur in the body. Inflammation is the keyword
in many diseases. Reducing inflammation
is the key to healing many diseases. Are you with me this far?
OK, beautiful. When events happen in life,
they’re recorded; when stressful events happen,
they are recorded as is. And that creates a certain level
of shock on the mind, which therefore sends distress signals
down the nervous system, which in turn will tell
the endocrine system to increase adrenaline and cortisol, and while those levels are increased,
our immune levels are lowered. The fact that we have
these stress responses initially is not a bad thing, yet the fact that our minds
compound all of these situations over time without ever letting them go. Every situation builds upon each other. So the real reason
we experience stress in reality is for our own good,
for our own safety. If you think of an animal,
for example, a mouse. A mouse sees a cat, gets anxiety,
has stress levels. Why? Because it needs to make
the decision to run away. Yet once the mouse runs away,
once the mouse finds cover, that anxiety is gone. The mouse doesn’t over-analyze
what the cat was thinking, how to feel about it now,
and what to do about it. No, that’s only something humans do. Humans encounter a stressful situation, we instantaneously attach meaning to it,
and then it’s recorded forever. So the initial stress isn’t bad, the continual attachment
to the stress is bad. Follow me so far? Good, OK. So just to reiterate, when we experience stress there’s a recording
in the subconscious mind. And enough of those recordings, over time, will cause havoc and
an overstressed nervous system, which in turn will cause
an overproduction of stress hormones and a suppression of immune function. So, now the golden question:
How do we reverse all of this? So there’s a new study
dedicated to all of this called psychoneuroimmunology. Psychoneuroimmunology, meaning the branch of medicine that deals with the influence
of emotional states and nervous system activity
on immune function, especially in relation to disease. So that’s the textbook definition. In reality, the best way that I have found to take the study off of paper
and into real life, to intervene in the influence
of stress on immunity, I have found is hypnotherapy. How? Let me tell you. So I do this fascinating therapy,
it’s called regression therapy. Essentially what this means is I take my clients to the first time,
the very first, first, first initial time, that a stressful event or events
caused the ailment at hand. For example, let’s say
we’re working with depression. I’ll guide a client
through a visualization, through their subconscious mind, it’s very cool, and then through this visualization, I’ll say something like this:
“We’re going to go to the first time, the very first time you
had emotions around depression.” And so what happens
in the subconscious mind is the subconscious mind then links up
with these specific memories that are tied to that specific ailment. So it goes something like this: A client would describe something that happened
when they were two years old. “I was two, my parents were fighting, I felt very upset, confused,
responsible for my parents, etc.” So then I start asking them
questions like this: “In that moment, how did you
need to feel as a two-year-old?” And then they would respond
something to the effect of: “I needed to feel like a baby,
like a two-year-old, comforted, etc.” So at this point, I would then direct them to feel
as if in that memory, they were filling their body
as the two-year-old with the resources that he or she
needed in that moment. In that moment, there is healing. You cannot change what has happened
to you in the past. Instead, you’re changing
the mind’s perception and the weight of the heavy feelings
that the past memory holds. Then after resolving that memory, we would then proceed through other
memories in a similar fashion. So what exactly is this doing? It is completely allowing
the subconscious mind to cope with things
it never got to cope with in the past. This reduces the recorded stress
that we’ve carried around our whole lives. When the subconscious mind heals,
it allows the nervous system to relax. When the nervous system relaxes,
there are less erratic signals. When there are less erratic signals, the endocrine system does not need to be
in a chronic state of fight or flight, therefore sending out inflammatory
hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. You see all this is all coming together? OK, I know I overloaded you
with a ton of information. So I want to finish up with this. A bit of an experience I had
with a client who came to see me. There’s a woman, she came to see me,
and she came to see me for weight loss, which many people do, many people come
to see hypnotists to lose weight. And I asked her: “What’s the issue? No motivation to get to the gym,
you don’t have a taste for healthy food; what’s going on?” So she said, “No,
I have motivation get to the gym. Yet every time I go,
I get into more pain.” So I asked, “Why are you in pain?” I said, “Oh, am I familiar?” So I said to her,
“Let’s start from the inside out. Instead of working on your
motivation to get to the gym, we should work on your
fibromyalgia pain first.” I asked her: “Where do you feel
most of it right now?” She said in her neck. I said, okay, let’s go for it. We did a regression session
around the pain in her neck. And the memory that came up
was at the time she was 12 years old, her and her brother got into a fight. He pushed her down the stairs and she essentially
got a stiff neck for a few weeks, and then it went away. Ten years later, it came back, and she told me that for 20 years
she couldn’t move her neck. We resolved that trauma – the trauma surrounding
that memory and a few others. When we finished,
she came up out of hypnosis, and she went like this. For the first time in 20 years,
she moved her neck. My mouth dropped and so did hers. We carry our lives with us
not only in our minds yet all over our body. Our bodies and minds
are intrinsically connected. There’s so much more detail
I can go through on this topic, yet really, this is the takeaway
I want to give to you today: The mind and body are resilient and have the innate ability
to heal themselves. Yet sometimes they just
need a bit of guidance. My wish for you is to be informed and to know that there are
resources out there to help you feel like the best you. I was told, time and time again,
that I would be sick or have PTSD forever. I was told by many doctors that I’d have to be
on high-level antidepressants, that there was no hope for me – this was the pathway of my life. Yet, in reality, I knew, and I was determined
with every ounce of my being to get back to who I knew I was: that girl that existed
somewhere deep down inside me. And now, I speak about chronic illness
and PTSD in the past, behind me, no longer part of me. If there’s someone you know
who doesn’t feel good, please tell them that there is hope. If you can heal your mind,
you can heal your life. So here’s to you,
your healthy mind and body, and here’s to never give up
the fight for your vitality. Thank you very much. (Applause)

  1. Yup, I'm reminded of Mind Body Spirit and that Doctors don't treat the Spirit as needed. Thankfully science is discovering the unseen world of life in everything everywhere today, that they yet don't truly understand. Yes, it's truly amazing this life is and how the Spirit can teach the Mind that will take care of the Body in meraculis ways, when used properly. Today we see them as miracles, but some day soon it will be common knowledge. Yes, I'm also reminded that all of this world's suffering is caused by one's own lack of understanding and that what's looking is what we are looking for…

Good topic, thanks for sharing your work.

  2. You can be awake and heal the trauma ,(and know EXACTLY what was said and done by the teacher and you)
You have a memory and an amazing Creator ,who if you ask,and seek to have a relationship with Him,will give you everything you need for life
I wouldn't leave anything up to someone who doesn't care or love me nor know everything about me to heal me,that's ignorance

  3. What a charming, well spoken, beautifully articulated and well presented by a beautiful woman! Congratulations to her and the whole team behind the creation of this production.

  4. "no conclusive research that supports the claims made about the subconscious mind" hahaha you guys are hilarious

  5. I find it difficult to believe she had no knowledge of hypnosis when she visited her therapist. She introduces it as if it were a new tool for change. As a psychotherapist with a PhD in Counselling Psychology, I've used hypnotherapy successfully in treating clients for over 25 years. I had my first hypnotherapy session in 1964. By the time I started practising, it, it was extremely popular and generally well understood by most of the clients who came to me. The lecture was well presented although the material is pretty ancient.

  6. The world renown hypnotherapists always encourage surgery to use hypnotherapy to reduce pain instead of anesthesia. Physicians around the world who study mind-body connection confirms that mind can heal body. Why these priceless knowledge won't be studied further? The huge pharmaceutical companies don't want to see that success. If Danna must live on the PTSD drugs or pain-relief drugs for the rest of her life instead of being cured in hypnotherapy, what way the drug companies make bigger and longer profit? Think about it.

  7. Why always is telling stories but never how to do the process ?? It's all about my client my cleint my client etc.. wtf .. ok how should we use our mind to heal stop advertising your selves

  8. My brother vishal upadhyay is suffering from ulcerative colitis since 1.5 years.  1 course of medicine was steroids.  In his second flare up he was given steroids and immunosuporessant.  Post that,  since 2 months he is feeling burning feet,  hands,  pickling sensations and lot of pain. He was given  3 rd small dose of steroids. Then again he is given 4 th dose to cure small fibre neuropathy.

Please help and let us know if you need any reports.

Note he is on  khichidi diet since 6 months. And last 1 month started with boiled vegetables.

  9. There are so many incredible books on this subject, please find them and read them as well. Thank you for sharing this

  10. I have narcolepsy, it's discovered that it's autoimmune…and it's triggered by strong i motions. It still doesn't really make much sense to me but we'll, in a nut shell I connect the brain with the mind like their one thing… And can't see how the mind can heal anything if it's damaged as well. Im not sure if that even makes sense. I only just became interested in all this… I feel like everything I've been learning is connected somehow and there's a purpose to me learning it and coming across more interesting information. Just an observation I had yesterday before I even watched this video

  11. Hmmm, interesting, but the theory of tabula rasa, or, “blank slate” of personality has been disproven. Personality traits, even habits have genetic origins. Nurture also plays a role, but it’s not quite accurate to say that we are born a blank slate.

  12. Dear friends when you give it then my value may be increasing other wise same position I got .yshk viswanatham MscBed.

  13. I really hope science realizes this and we can make it illegal to inculcate our children into these horrific religions that have poisoned the well of society for millennias

  14. Most of those ingredients are not sold in the ‘‘tis part of the world.. If you have a store the sells these ingredients plz let me know

  15. I LOVE this! I think this is so true! It totally explains my anxiety patterns. Wow! Now I think I have to go get hypnosis! What a cool opportunity! Thank you for this TED talk Danna!

  16. Fantastic teacher because she, herself, personally experienced and can heal through knowledge, determination, conviction, compassion.

  17. Years ago a cured myself from a terminal illness. Yes, I changed my diet and went out to the sun. Then I started daughting myself and i became ill again. So you must keep it going and never stop believing. Good luck.

  18. 1:39 This is a theory. One that does not explain why some small children are born with memories of someone who lived and died in the past. It doesn’t explain why our children are born completely different from one another in the same environment. Cool video, but it predicates on the acceptance of the theory that we are born “blank slates”, as Freud believed.

ETA: We are indeed sponges at a young age, but not complete blank slates.

  19. Thank you, Danna for a wonderful thought-provoking talk. I share your talk with my Hypnotherapy students. Wishing you well! –Colleen Hitchcock

  20. It's all the game of brain… daily basis lots of neuro are developing and damaged as per your mood swings..if you all take tension..as per area..the brain stop working on that area that why days to day routine basis.lots of diseases are coming.due to today scenario

Out life style .that lady don't told her past life why that causes her…if you all have to control your self.just work on your self.listen your self..

  21. Lots of ancient things are here for you…just you have required to learn in your life. Enjoy…every moment as this is your last day…live in present day…simple theory's for everyone.

  22. People who disproportianetly have extreme stress are poor people who I doubt can afford this type of therapy.

  23. So what do you do if there are things in your past that you don't remember. I remember nothing under the age of 9. I know that there was a lot of emotional trauma not sure what it was. So how could I work on something I can't remember.

  24. Dear Lady

I read about Hypnotic, I am from South Africa, and want know is it possible for me as a deaf person to be hypnotic?

    Thank you

  25. Even though i already knew the mind/body are connected, I really needed this reminder. I feel like I was guided to this video, I'm 45, I have tremendous childhood trauma and PTSD. I have long term depression, which have influenced my physical health in such way, that I can't even remember how it feels to be happy and healthy! I really want to live my life rather than just exist. I'm going to find out more about this hypnotherapy, thank you for this reminder!🥰

  26. Thank you so much for your amazing knowledge and the fluid style with which you relayed the knowledge. This has been so informative. Thank you again.

  27. You need very little to create a joyful life beyond the tools you already possess. Although most will need a guide to assist with the process of tapping into it.

Hypnosis is not a necessary method and for many, seldom works. That's why most will require a spealized coach that could design a successful multifaceted program that's customized for each patient's individual needs.

Learning what you didn't know, you didn't know, is like tapping into joy. This quantum esoteric protocol will heal and transform your reality, alter which of your DNA will be expressed and blow your mind!

You are not a victim of your dis-ease or of your genetics. You are a master that has been misinformed and misprogrammed. This can be resolved and is partly due to an error in the theory of evolution.

Lamarck is the primary founder of the correct theory of evolution, but Darwin's invalid theory was unfortunately adopted regardless and unfortunately that Dogma is at the core of our current failing Drug & Conventional Disease Management System where MD's are practicing medicine based upon a flawed theory.

The Lamarckian Theory was correct and proved that variations in our environment influences the outcome of gene expression and cellular health. So with that said, how do we impact THIS environment in order to create the outcome that we desire?

This is just one of several aspects that needs to be addressed when looking to heal the physical and emotional body, and why medical doctors and synthetic pharmaceutical drugs are unable to create and restore wellness. The Medical School teachings are flawed and have been further overhauled into a new Pharmaceutical- Based Curriculum to create medical doctors that are programmed to match every diagnosis with a prescription drug as a praised primary focus to enhance profits for the medical group and to increase financial awards from big Pharma. This profit-based focus takes priority over suggesting less expensive alternative healing methods that could work more effectively. That alternative protocol would go against the status quo and is harshly frowned upon by medical management.

Since medical school training is scientifically flawed and nutrition courses have been removed, MD's have very limited skills beyond providing many unnecessary surgeries and procedures, and managing catastrophic care. Of course some drugs are helpful and necessary and outweigh the bad with the good and Urgent Care is one place where medical doctors truly provide an invaluable life-saving service, but still they come in FIRST as USA's #1 leading cause of death, disease and disability, well over heart disease and cancer. That should alarm everyone.

Our current medical system is not working.

Healing will require alternative methods that are based on proven data and valid unbiased studies completed by properly trained professionals and not based on theories and on dogmas that have long ago been debunked.

Please know there are many of us now helping people to recover and it is pure joy to behold.✨💗

  28. It's great to see someone working along the same lines as Dr John Sarno ("Divided Mind", "Healing Back Pain" and others). It's worked for me and is an on going learning process.

  29. I suffered from sumat in 1991 yes 28 years ago and just prior to my issue in April 1991 probably few months prior to that I found 5 cigarettes I smoked all 5 in the space of less than 10 mins after that I felt extremely weak all over my body my brain/ mind and body just felt extremely uncomfortable/weak that continued for many months ( I was age 12 wen I smoked the cigarettes) then April 1991 I was still feeling same I recall I stuffed my self eating mums cooking I had just turned 13 I was so so full after the meal all sorts of things started racing in my mind OH I CAN'T BREATHE OH WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN ETC . Then I was in the panic mode and all my body went really warm then it honestly felt like sumat burst inside my stomach then immediately after that I just had no air to breathe I then went to bed being a Sunday night and school next day and I felt the same for weeks and weeks I did visit my doctor and complained I can't breathe but he couldn't find my issue I then automatically healed by July/Aug 1991 .
I recall whole of 1992 I was perfectly fine.
    It happen again in 1993/94/95/96
And 1997 and 98 I was perfectly fine I started smoking alot late 98 that made it worse again I was unwell for full 1 year and from 2000 to 2011 full 11 years I was well ..
Again happen in 2011 and 2013 and I did recover..
But since June 2018 to now this present day I've been extremely extremely unwell same symptoms but each time its happend since 1991 its gone worse and worse miles miles worse this has been the worse ever ive had to leave work. .
Ive had umpteen hospital tests / scans and all of the results have been clear. .
Now that i think back what has caused this i think the cigarettes I smoked made my brain weak and some lose functioning that has all developed in my body the illness really does feel real inside my body basically my brain has conditioned my body for me to feel like this. .
I domt know what to do I suffer endlessly im considering a brain scan!!

  30. Bottom line – however we get there, we have Far More Power at our disposal than the medical/corporate world wants us to know. Why placebo is reproducible and even science has to admit it is true. Why don't they like it and do more with it – doesn't make money.

  31. Im 18 and iv just graduated highschool im not sure what i want to do next but i still havent gotten a job anyways this is the crazy thing that iv been going through for about a little over a week. So i was playing a video game on my phone (I game on my phone and pc all the time and when im not gaming im thinking about what to play next or other things related to games but that does not occupy all my thoughts I also think about other things Iv seen online or social media stuff but I dont really go outside that much since i graduated im just in here playing video games all day though i do take short breaks) any ways all of a sudden i felt apathetic while gaming and i gotta say it felt terrible i had 0 interest anyways it only lasted 15 minutes. The next day the same thing happened only difference is that it lasted WAY longer and the next day and the next till eventually this is how iv been lately i have no interest in anything not even gaming! Im usually a ver happy and cheerful person even when im not gaming. Any ways this is how iv been eventually my mood perks up and my emotions come back but then they go straight back to me not wanting to do anything and 0 thoughts not even about gaming pop into my mind i also have trouble concentrating or remembering certain things. I have anxiety as well which makes things much worse. Anyways my family is always telling me that i play video games too much and that they can ruin my brain could that be what happened and will i get back to normal? What i pretty much want to know is are these withdrawl symptoms because iv gamed too much or could it be something else like depersonolization which iv been looking up constantly I really want to go back to normal any advice would be helpful and i really want to get my normal thought proccess back instead of constantly thinking about my lack of emotion and feeling depressed. I know i shouldnt be saying this next part but i want to know if after I've recovered will i be able to game casually like most of my friends do just a couple hours a day and after not focusing only on them? Also i do like anime and i still watch it everyday should i stop that too just like i stopped gaming and also is watching gameplays or walkthroughs just as bad? Yesterday i had a dream that i was in a video game and the day before that too. I got a bunch of games on my computer and phone but i dont want to delete them because I hope that once im better ill be able to play them without focusing only on them.

  32. I've got the same insight while on psilocybin, not with the medical approach, but relieving muscular pain (your body speaks)

  33. You're on point, only there is a bit more. Focus on the breathing. For most traumas the child's reaction at the time of the trauma is a catch in the breath. Reflect a bit on the experience of a trauma and you will see the catch in the breath. The key is to finish that breath. Breathing deeply through the re-experiencing of a trauma moves the energy. A person re-experiencing a trauma will have a tendency toward short and shallow breaths. Three or four deep inhalations and expirations will dissipate the blocked energy. Most illness is energy blockage. I've used this many times helping others through some rough patches. Breathing is our greatest tool in healing illness.

  34. This approach would take weeks/months to resolve and very expensive. I will save most of you that trouble and explain in just few sentences. Human Brain is receptive to programs from Source. Some will say we are living in Hologram where outside of us is programmed, however I believe the program is within the mind. Program is sent to your mind and mind interprets program as the physical world that you think is real. So any problem you "perceive" yourself as having doesn't actually exist and purely lives only in your perception. Essentially, you are not your own persona. You are now free of that illusionary burden. But you will need to continue to play your roles in society. Drop inner resistance. Achieve inner peace regardless of situation now that you know the truth. Remember to love yourself and others.

  35. There is something about our body than doctors hide from us and it is our minds power.we dont need anyone to cure us.we r the creator of our helth

  36. So my friend who sustained a severe spinal cord injury could've healed it with their mind? My brain, throat & nerves that were damaged are still not healed though I try every day to improve I will always have these injuries. I agree that mind & body are obviously connected but there are so many cases where mind cannot fix matter (The body). Yes, I know stress kills: I'm living in almost constant stress (including in my nightmares) because I lost my job (& health( because of my accident and was prevented from accessing justice so I lost my home too. Governments know stress kills but they choose to force ill & disabled & old etc. people to try to argue and fight to receive 'welfare' which, governments know, isn't enough to live on. I've got many threats hanging over my head all the time, not least is homelessness. This woman is very arrogant because she has managed (I assume with help from doctors/hospital after her accident, which I didn't get because mine was CAUSED by doctors' errors then lies & denial of remedial care) to cure herself – with help from hypnotists & therapists. I live the best I can with all my injuries but my pain is made far worse because of the place I live and having no help e.g. for the garden – that I can't use but must maintain in my over-priced dangerous rented flat. I know some of my pain is psychological but some of it isn't and I do my very best to try to cope day & night – and I'm proud, but people like her saying 'it's all in the mind' really damages people like me because she's saying 'you aren't trying hard enough' and 'it's YOUR fault' or blaming memories from age TWO – I don't think kids that young carry memories, they are 'false' memories created later, I think. I'm glad this woman recovered but PLEASE: do talk about things (injuries etc.) that CANNOT be fixed by mind alone – I assume she goes to the doctor sometimes for ailments she can't fix herself – or is there no need because her powerful mind can 'see' if she has cervical cancer so no test required and if she developed it she could cure it with her mind? Same for reading glasses, she maybe isn't old enough yet but will she manage to prevent sight deterioration caused by age with only her mind? I'm not against hypnotism & therapists it's just that there is a limit to what they can (reportedly) do. Oh and did she get a big payout from insurers for her accident so she didn''t have to lose her job & suffer extreme financial stress as lots of us (including the low-paid/unemployed but fit) do?

  37. Nice, coming from a therapist who just discovered what has been practiced by Shamans, Curanderos , from Mexico to S.America for 1000s of years. 🤔

  38. I also used sound wave for treatment of many patients of various illness that cannot be detacted by medical doctors. I have been in this field since 2006. What kind of sound waves I used? I dont reveal it here. But I can only say, I am in this complementry healing for more than 10 years. This is not an alternative treatment rather but a complementry to the modern scientific treatment. I am the Chairman of Sabah healing and Therapy team.

  39. Due to drugs I been having this stomach discomfort pain for over 3 years now! I’ve gotten better, touched rock bottom and been really strong. I give up sometimes, but I believe I can be cured and be who I’m supposed to be. Is there any recommendations?

  40. Christ has proven that any illness can be healed instantly !!! this event must be understood by scientific community !!! it is highly revealing of real operating laws of the mind !!! that are known by some rare knowers .MAN must study and do the spiritual work of knowing Oneself !!! then he will be inspired to the truth…..and know !!!! there is no easy access to truth we must be willing to work for it to automatically deserve it and forget our EGO . devotion and consecration to truth is first needed !!! there can be no cheating !! serious involvement is needed in the spiritual world !!! .

  41. My heart is racing, i had neck truama from when i was young where i was on a trampoline and landed on my neck then it was in pain for years and stiff.

Fast foward one day the pain stopped and growing little older to late teens i did something to trigger it just from sleeping odd in bed and it is said it the stiffness from that would go after few weeks to a month. but it's been a year and i had been research so much about the consciousness and a thousand other topics that could connect with the topics of eachother, including being 'Woke' (You guys know what i mean. 😉

Also i shall add i did take lsd 2 months ago and i believe it could had affect

I've recently learnt how to use my subconsciousness (my life is insanly changed and improved in a matter of days)

I just tried the method to focus about my neck and bam after 5 seconds no pain and can move it free.
    Just incredible!

  42. Excellent. I believe this . I talk myself through my trauma with my parent voice . I am my own parent. I have had to be in order to grow . I don’t have to be a product of my life’s experience, a product that is stereotypical through society. I can be who and how I want to be . It’s taken years of work but it’s worth it . It’s ongoing and I will live life now and Not just “ get through it “ . I believe our minds are so powerful and I’m using it to talk kindly and with a nurturing tone to myself . It works . Great video thank you

  43. An entire talk premised entirely on anecdotes without one shred of scientific evidence. I believe in the power of positive thought, but I also know snake oil when I see it. TedX really missed the bar, letting this lady on stage.

  44. The spunge function is only little part of us 0.0001%. The main parte is unconscious memory alredy present, and we can call it the Soul ….
