My DAITH PIERCING Experience | Natural Headache Pain Reliever

What is up you guys welcome back to my channel, I hope you’re doing awesome I have a little bit of a different set up I’m just testing things out, but as you can tell by the title and thumbnail of this video I’m gonna be talking about my newest piercing which is the date piercing? And if you have no idea what the data is where it’s at and you just were like what did you pierce? I love a picture somewhere right here that you can see what the dates piercing is and where it is located I got the date piercing for really only one reason and that is because I heard that it helps with migraines and headaches And if you’ve been following me along my journey you would know that I’ve been struggling really bad with migraines and headaches and so I got pierced for that reason and so far it seems to be helping if You want more updated videos on how it’s helping my headache definitely thumbs up this video, but I got my date piercing Probably like a week weekend half ago, and I am surprised it wasn’t as bad as I was told I Did what you should never do and go to YouTube and Google and researched everything I watched videos and experiences And I watched people get it done, and that was kind of scary that was more scary I think then actually going to get it done, but Everyone’s different everyone’s going to feel pain differently and for me. I do have a high pain tolerance so it really wasn’t that bad It was in a very uncomfortable spot, and I think the pressure and like putting that piercing in was the most painful part was actually putting the jewelry in and I will show you guys what it looks like and then I will kind of tell you how it felt for me and Just my experience with getting it done, so we’re gonna get nice and close with my ear I did get it on my right side and the picture that I showed you as a second ago It shows you that. It was like really really in your ear, and it really really is so That is my piercing. I hope you guys can see that, okay, but It’s just right on that curved piece. I tried to clean it before I showed you guys cuz It has been known to get kind of gross but That is my date piercing and all of its glory when I went to get it done He just took me back with sat in the chair, and he cleaned my ear for a really really long time I think the cleaning of my ear hurt more than actual piercing, but like I said everyone’s different So we just like scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed on the inside scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed two times And then he had me tilt my head used some little like the plier things that they normally use like with your nose piercings or anything like that and put those on and then had me breathe in breathe out and it went through the Worst part of it for me like the worst part of it for me was not the pain It wasn’t the pressure of putting the piercing in it was the sound the needle made going through my ear that Sound will forever be stuck in my brain It was the most disgusting crunch I’ve ever heard in my life, and I’m just really hoping I don’t need to pierce the other side because I don’t know if I could handle like the sound of it But like I said the pain wasn’t that bad if you do suffer from migraines and headaches you will rather want the pain of the piercing than the pain of the headaches because The piercing was not as bad as my headaches and migraines When I went in with a migraine and I came out with a headache That could just be because the pain migrated to my ear it could just be the adrenaline that I had going on But I did have instant relief from my migraine pain I will do an updated video if you guys want me to on how I have been feeling and Whatnot so I will do that if you guys want to see it, but so far the death piercing has helped me I do recommend it to people with headaches and migraines and just any sorts of issues there it does help and I Love it and it’s one of those piercings that are kind of hidden The only time you can really see it is if you’re looking like right inside my ear like if you’re looking for it to me Head on you can’t see it at all and then once this heals I’m just gonna get a curved barbell So you really won’t be able to see it at all really like I said I would recommend it to anyone who wants it done that does suffer with migraines and headaches because and that was just my Experience so if you have your day piercing leave me comment down below telling me how your experience was how your pain Level was how it is healing and all that jazz I would love to know I will see you guys in my next video But I tell them and stay positive bye guys

  1. I think I need to get my other side done for it to work better. I was surprised at how fine I felt the next day, as I expected to be sore for a week or more. And YES on the crunch sound– too weird. I hope you can get some more long term relief! ❤️❤️ please update us later down the road.

  2. I got my daith pierced on January 1, 2017.
I suffered with migraines 3-5 days a week and daily headaches. As soon as I got my daith pierced I had instant relief. Almost 11 months later and I can count on one hand how many migraines and headaches I have had. It did take about 8 months to fully heal which was annoying but I don't regret getting it pierced at all!

  3. Please do keep us updated. Hope it brings you some relief. I get horrible headaches and migraine, too and I've been thinking about doing the same thing.

  4. I want to get my 13 year old daughters done she has migraines almost everyday! But no one will do it until she is 16!!! 😢

  5. I got a daith piercing 2 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. I’ve had maybe 3 migraines in 2 years and they really aren’t as bad as they us to be.

  6. My daith piercing was very painful and the crunch sound was terrible.  However, I have not had a migraine since!  I had it done 3 weeks ago and it hasn't hurt since the first day.  I highly recommend it to anyone with migraines!

  7. I've had my Daith done a little over a year. I love mine, didn't really hurt when i got it done but I had the bump on the piercing and the ring came out, getting it redone hurts a lot more. I'm thinking about getting my other Daith done soon

  8. I got my Daith on my right side last Friday, so only five days ago. You're absolutely right, that sound… yikes. But for me it was the same, the pain was, of course, unpleasant and it took her quite a long time to get the needle and the jewellery through. ("Your cartilage is REALLY robust, my God" was her comment – and I chose the thickest ring as well, so none of that was her fault at all.) In the end, though, I imagined it to be way worse than it actually was. The jewellery part was a bit icky, but it was bearable.

So far, it's honestly been way better than expected. I can sleep on my right side, there isn't a ton of discharge, it's only a little tender after cleaning and only for a minute, and during the day I don't really notice it at all. The only two things that are bothering me is that I can't wear my earphones, and cleaning it is honestly kind of a mission. Can't see sh*t back there.

As far as headaches go, I get regular headaches every other day and migraines like, maybe once a month, so I'm lucky in that regard. Haven't had a headache since, though. I'll have to wait and see about the migraines, but I'm hopeful. 🙂

  9. I got my daith pierced a couple days ago and honestly it's the most painless piercing I've gotten. The worst part for me was when they were putting in the jewelry- it was extremely uncomfortable but it wasn't painful as such.
It hasn't hurt at all since then either, so I'm thinking I lucked out there lol but it does bleed quite a bit.
It's also helped me with my headaches and migraines, so I'm happy about that too 🙂

  10. I got it done yesturday… its was painful … it hasn't help yet …😔😢 😏 i have headaches all day and everyday plus i get worse pains during my periods… i feel hopeless 😔😢

  11. I have been suffering from migraines for the last 30 odd years and was recently told by a friend that I should get a daith piercing done. Not done much research on it yet but this was a great video, thanks

  12. I've been suffering from chronic migraines for 26 years. I'm currently on 125mgs of Topamax which isn't helping. I was currently in yet another week of a continuous migraine so I went and got my daith pierced yesterday. No crunch sound, lol. Honestly no pain. Just a crap load of pressure for like 2 seconds. But I had a headache last night that went away all on it's own so I was like "is this it??!"

  13. I don’t even know how I stumbled on this vid, lol, but I’m glad I did. I’ve been a migraine sufferer for 20+yrs and same as most, nothing is helping to prevent them. I am soooo sick of taking prescription meds and I have tried a number of natural remedies. I’m so over this thing! I heard that the “tragus” piercing was the one that helps with this condition and would love to know your thoughts on this before I try one or the other. Thanks for the vid 🙂

  14. Got it done two weeks ago, for the looks because I have migraine only once in a while, and the piercing itself was totally fine but I swelled up so much it was extremely painful around my ear, on the side of my face and down my neck.

Now it’s totally fine, no pain, no swelling and minimal amount of crusties. It was ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE for the first few days, then… nothing.
I got my rook and my nostril done at the same time, and these guys were so easy, no pain at all, even when my rook got slightly infected (healed up in two days) it didnt hurt nearly as bad as when my daith was swollen.
